Larry will not let the cardinals lose to the panthers after what happened last season. The cards will be bringing home the W that's for sure.

You do realize quite a few snowbirds own homes here...live here for a good portion of the year. They're residents like you and I. No one has more 'rights' to a golf course than anyone else. And to be fair, if it were not for those who actually travel here in the winter to play golf we wouldn't have as many courses as we do.

Dude relax. I think he was joking. It would be great to have "nothing better to do" during the week. I can't wait to have that problem.

"Rights" might be too harsh a word to use, you're correct. Let me rephrase: I think those that work full time year round and only have 2 short days on the weekend to play a round of golf, shouldn't be questioned by those who can play golf whenever they feel like it. If a snowbird chooses to play a round of golf on a Saturday afternoon and then bit*h about it when they KNOW the course will be chock full of working folks enjoying their weekends, then that's their problem. Im not sure the guy was joking or not, but I found that comment to be extremely bizarre.

I wouldn't go to Minnesota in the summer and complain about the locals being on their lakes enjoying the weekend playing water sports.

I think I was joking based on the stupid theme of this thread. I guess turnabout isn't fair play in your world. And for the record I avoid Saturday shopping like the plaque.

Their driving can be frustrating, just as you trying to get around a town that you may not be 100% familiar with. But I'll gladly deal with that for all of the money they spend in AZ. They contribute a great deal to the economy.

Yes franchisors at Furr's and Luby's are very appreciative.

I was down in Phoenix in September this year and honestly noticed no difference in traffic wherever I drove. I think it's highly exaggerated. It's fairly free flowing in September and still is in February. Traffic only really occurs during rush hours to and from work and snowbirds aren't changing that.

They also spend money at casinos, grocery stores, movie theaters, furniture stores, gas stations and pay property taxes. You are over simplifying.
