The weird part is that there is a Talking Resort and it is no where near Taking Stick Resort Arena. Can be very confusing! Kind of like the Ak-Chin Pavillion. No where near Ak-Chin.

It's brilliant, really. Someone buys tickets to go see Billy Joel at Talking Stick Arena, then drive to Talking Stick Casino/Resort looking for the arena, can't find it and realize they will be too late to drive across town and make the show so they play a couple hundred in the slots

Ak-Chin Pavilion is a lot closer to the Ak-Chin reservation than the two Talking Stick facilities. I don't find the TSR situation confusing. But Talking Stick isn't the name of the tribe or reservation, anyway, so it's more like a corporate name applied to different facilities in the same area.

United isn't that large at PHX. They rank fourth behind American, Southwest, and Delta in terms of PHX market share.

That was a facetious remark.
