Good Morning!

My husband and I just relocated from CA to AZ and are looking for bargain movie theaters than run second run movies like Wonder Woman or Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. Would prefer to stay in East Valley, but are open to any bargain theater in the Phoenix metro area.

Thanks in advance for your kind assistance!

I recommend the Pollack Cinema in Tempe.

Pollack Tempe Cinemas

The price is right at $3.50, and there's a lot of interesting memorabilia to look at in the lobby.

If you like to combine dinner and a movie, Yupha's (Thai) and Flanny's (pub with craft beer) are located in the same shopping center, along with a few other restaurants.

And on Tuesdays, admission, drinks and popcorn (excellent popcorn) are all $2.50!

A number of theaters have reduced prices before 5:00 or 6:00 p.m., culled matinee pricing. I think the Harkins Camelview does it either weekends only or weekdays only, but I can never remember which. Others do it every day.

Love this theater. Amazingly outdated! Get the same feeling at the Arby's by Paradise Valley Mall.
