I live in the metro Detroit area looking at the possibility of making a move to the Phoenix area. I'm an RN and would like to continue working in a hospital.

Any RNs here that can advise on some hospitals to work for and maybe some to avoid? Any that pay more or less? Better or worse ratios? More or less resources? Etc.

You already have a thread on this topic from last week. Starting another rarely provides more information than the first thread.

The previous thread I posted was more so about wages and cost of living in general and the thread title wasn’t about nursing although in the thread it was discussed. I was hoping by discussing specifically nursing and including it in the thread title to maybe get some responses from people that maybe were drawn to specifically nursing that weren’t drawn to the previous thread.

Why not hook up with a Travel Nurse recruiter, take a 3-5 month tour in a Phoenix area hospital and check it out for yourself ? Travel Nursing is a great way to see the country, while looking for a new place to call home.
