I'm thinking about possibly changing my cell provider when I move to Phoenix. Who has the best service coverage while in buildings?

Can't tell you who has the best but i can say from experience Sprint is not very good. There are huge sections of the metro where I don't have data or phone signal. And this is outside, not inside the building. Inside is often worse. I'm changing when my contract is up (counting the weeks). I'll be interested in seeing what recommendations you get.

While I can't say who the best is because I have not tried the many available, I have heard that Verizon usually offers the best signal around in and out of buildings. They have plans that are an okay price, but are generally a little pricier than say a Sprint carrier like Boost or Virigin Mobile is. Although I am generally more pleased with prices by Virgin Mobile or Boost Mobile and no contract plans available as they are not expensive, there will be some buildings and some areas where the signal does act a little funny.

I switched back in December from Verizon to AT&T to take advantage of their BOGO on iPhone 8. I don’t notice any difference in quality since switching.

T Mobile has been perfect for us out here; havent dropped a call in 6 months

I've had Verizon forever. I've considered switching but every time I think about it, I decide to keep it. It may be slightly more expensive depending on your plan (The cheaper plans out there usually are package deals that don't apply to someone paying for just one phone), but I have never had any issues with signal no matter where in the country I am. I know folks with other providers that can't say the same, AT&T among the worst for dropped calls and weak signal. (I have been side by side with someone who has AT&T and they had no signal while I had full bars, for example)

I'm sticking with what I have for peace of mind knowing I can always rely on it. If it ain't broke...

I feel exactly the same way. I've been with Verizon and before that its two predecessors in interest since I first got a phone around 1996. A friend of mine who worked as an engineer for those three companies (and now works as an engineer for AT & T) was with me at a Dbacks game a few years ago when AT & T was sponsoring the wi fi in the ballpark. She could not get service on her AT & T phone. It was amusing.
