I knew what you meant by PA...and like I stated..would trust a top notch pharmacist more, especially, when you don't need a prescription for a laundry list of stuff you would need one for in the US. They were advertising the endoscopy with a digestible camera...don't know about that specific MRI, but lots of foreigners have gout.

There are many private imaging centers, using the latest Siemens and GE equipment. http://www.mrithailand.com/index.php...ent_id=1&id=23

Does anyone here actually have a MediShare insurance? If so, can you please share your experiences? Thank you.

I dont think there is any other profession in the world where the supplier gets to treat the "customer" like crap the way it happens in alot of the medical providers office..

thank you, obama care..
You can't blame Obamacare for this one. Doctors were overbooking back in the 70's. I worked for several doctor offices in my early career days and they all overbooked. They thought nothing of booking the first patients at 8:00 a.m., yet they (the doc) would not come into the office until 10:00 a.m. or later. It was a very common practice back then. Fortunately, the newer younger docs have a somewhat better attitude about patients and don't play these games. Some do, but with Yelp, Google and multiple rate-your-doc medical websites, it's fewer than what used to do this in the past. Also, more patients today won't put up with it and will walk out, and schedule an appointment with another doctor. And/or give a bad review. I know my review of the PHX doc was not glowing. My docs in ABQ (NM Heart Institute) have signs asking you to let someone know if you have been waiting longer than x minutes (I don't remember if it's 20 or 30). I never had to wait that long.

yeah, that non sense of booking patients hours before the doctor even parked his Mercedes in the parking lot always got me hot under the collar too; you are right, now a days there is much less of that, but over booking is still all over the place in the medical profession

On an HMO plan with a $1500 deductible , Silver, premium is about $1100/mo but if you are living on savings and have little or no earned income that would mean a large subsidy and could bring premium down to $200 or $300/mo.
