And I love it. But I want to know if this is has been the average summer in Phoenix or has it been cooler/warmer. Someone told me that this year has been more humid than in the past.

It's been wetter in the part of town where I live but otherwise pretty typical. I had six inches of rain at my cabin in the mountains so far this month which is well above normal and truly excellent after a horribly dry winter. Never seen it so green up north.

Well then, the summers here are not bad at all. I actually like it. There a few days where it the heat made my skin crawl, but other than that, it looks like I found a home here.

49erfan, Then you'll be pleased to know there will be at least another two months of it! Last year the 90-degree temps didn't break until Thanksgiving.

My left knee would agree

For many years it's been just as accurate as Grandpa Dave was on the number 10

Huh? There wasn’t a single 90 degree day the entire month of November last year.

OP, how did you like the days it hit 116 / 117?

I start jumping for joy when I see fall fashions in the stores, knowing I'll be able to wear them in 3.5 to 4 months from now!

Those days were brutal and the nights were just as brutal. I had to turn on the AC in my car during those nights that I had to be out.
