Where are some good spots to go for live music? Would like to find something in or very near to Chandler for a couple of hours in the evening, and we also want to try some of the casinos... we used to make a night of it, have dinner, see a show, get a room away from the dogs and kid

A hotel near downtown Chandler would probably workout great, I know Murphy's Law has live music on the weekend. I think Bourbon Jacks does as well but I haven't personally been there.

I live in West Chandler near Kyrene and Chandler Blvd. There is a sports bar call Good Time Charlies on the SW corner of that intersection that is always packed and has live music almost every night. I've only gone there for lunch a few times (good menu) because it's always so busy at night. There are also two Casino's near there, one about a mile away the other about 3 miles away. Both have music venues also.
