Anything besides ASU football it has to be a free luxury suite with food, beer and wine for me to attend
I dont watch high school football unless it involves my alma mater

I might go to a game or two. It’s not too far from me and is cheap entertainment, but not on a Sunday night. I’d go on a Saturday afternoon then bar hop or something on Mill.

And not like the Suns or Dbacks who sold out to Fox Sports AZ for a quick buck. The reason the NFL succeeds with younger audiences is easy access. A slim percentage of people under 40 have cable.
They are.

True. It is televised on NFL Network, but that's a premium channel (for Cox at least), but is included with SlingTv. They ought to try to get it on one of the smaller local channels like CW or the new Fox 10 24/7 news and sitcom channel (formerly MYTV).

Gameday tomorrow night at Memphis, please tune in cause they're competing with the NBA all star Saturday. I don't want low ratings for,our televised AAF games

A couple of takes:

Deadspin just published an interesting piece written by former NFL'er Nate Jackson chronicling his experiences in an alternate football league. It's a little salty, but a great read:

One of the better reader comments ended with "It’s still bloodsport though, but at least it pays better than college."

Hadn't heard that one. We always called him 'Skippy" when he was coaching at UDub.
