I actually find it odd AT&T would do most of the West Valley before Gilbert considering Gilbert probably has a more affluent customer base that is willing to pay more for their premium services vs. going with T-Mobile or Sprint.

As for why Queen Creek/South Gilbert/Southeast Mesa was upgraded before the rest of Gilbert, I think there were some coverage issues within that TAC that made the upgrades high priority, so AT&T decided to do the 5GE upgrades at the same time.

It probably doesn't have anything to do with affluence, although Arrowhead Ranch is one of the most affluent areas of the valley..

It might have something more to do with the west valley, being more recently developed, might have infrastructure that is more workable with the current 5G/5G what ever it is technology that is coming out now..

Remember, the explosive growth going on in the metro area at this time is going on more so the west/NW Valley than it is in Gilbert/QC

Here again, I think its more the work ablilty with newer cell towers/equipment than anything else, but, not being a cellular engineer, I cant say with any certainty
