Hi all,

I will be moving to the Phoenix area soon and i have an option for corporate housing. Currently i have two options:
1. San Sonoma - 9010 S Priest Dr, Tempe, AZ 85284
2. San Portella - 2155 South 55th Street, Tempe, AZ 85282

My work is close to the PHX airport. I like San Sonoma a little bit more but it seems that my commute will be about 5 minutes longer according to Google. Which location is better in general assuming that the commute difference is only 5-7 minutes?

It depends. If you want to be closer to the ASU campus, then the 55th St location #2 is better as well as closer to the airport.

Proximity to ASU is a bit of a negative for me as I want to avoid the ASU crowd (nothing against ASU but prefer peace and quiet). If the price is only 5 minutes of additional commute i might be okay although we went to see it on a Sunday and there was quite a bit of traffic on the highway. Location #1 seemed to have some shopping nearby. Not sure about parks.

If you want peace and quiet then the one on Priest is a better option. Safer, wealthier area as well. I wouldn't personally live at Broadway and I-10 but it is a faster commute for sure.
