Do I really have to pay $30 extra because my 3 month puppy isn't spayed yet? That seems kind of ridiculous.

Get the dog spayed and then get the license?

You can't spay a puppy that young and I am required to get the license now.

Ask the animal control people?

You're technically "required", but nobody is going to come kick your door down. I didn't get around to getting licenses for our dogs for a year. One of them got out and bit a neighbor's dog. Animal control came and gave me a written warning to get a license, so I just finished the app and was done.

This isn't a big deal.

Wait until she is spayed to get the license (no one is going to hunt you down) , or pay the extra now.

You can hold off on the license. They will just keep sending you reminders in the mail, but that's about it.
