Duh.

It should be noted though that we have a thread about the vandalized Mercedes store and nothing about the ended lives. Like they say, if you’re more outraged by the loss of property than the loss of lives, you are the problem.

Your hate is very evident, and this isn't the first time you've expressed your extreme bitterness toward the police in general. I agree that a few cops are criminals themselves, and the one in Minnesota who killed the man should be charged with first degree murder. But labeling all police officers as thugs, murderers, and thieves is WAY over the top.

So are you saying that you're in favor of what the rioters & looters are doing? Protesting peacefully is perfectly fine, but nobody has any right to destroy property. In fact, I'll bet money that the vandals in downtown Phoenix, Scottsdale, and many other places throughout the nation have absolutely no interest in what happened to George Floyd. Rioting & looting is NOT speaking out against racism & brutality ... it's a criminal offense. They're purely lawbreakers who are using this as their own opportunity to raise hell. Obviously a bunch of idiots with nothing better to do.

Well, a lot of libraries are still closed.

True. But the frustration is that this issue doesn't go away. It's repeated every few months at the very least.

Too bad these pieces of trash can't steal an education or career. Noticed that the bookstores went untouched. Use an isolated incident as an excuse to steal and damage stuff you can't afford all the while pushing the undecided voters in America in a certain direction just like last time. Dumb.

Far beyond a smashed window at a Mercedes dealership. Small businesses broken into all over old town. Even one put up the "black owned" business sign, thinking that would protect him. Probably feels right at home to a Detroiter? Leftist, turning cities into variations of Detroit one at a time, a Leftist dream

I like to take time for more reports to come out to get a clearer picture but there have been reports nationwide that those arrested for vandalism, looting, etc. have a high concentration of people from out of town and/or state. Depending on the sources the culprits are antifa, white supremacists or government infiltrators/agitators.

There's also problems nationwide with police lashing out against legitimate protestors. Shooting them with rubber bullets and spraying them with tear gas and pepper spray. A cop in Seattle is alleged to have pepper sprayed a child. I don't mean a teenager but an actual child. Pictures of the situation are not good.

Agreed about the rioters. They've no appreciation for Mr. Floyd nor his family. Planned agitation or not this is about exploiting a tragedy to create chaos.

Unfortunately, there's too many people out there that cannot separate the different parties. Everything gets lumped into one which is not fair.

Sorry to burst your silly narrative, but no, I don’t at all condone vandalism and looting. Again though, if you’re more outraged by damaged property than by systemic racism, you are the problem. This country needs an awakening and it’s not as if peaceful protesting wasn’t attempted.

LOL, what is the result that you're looking for from peaceful protesting or rioting, since you said the peaceful protests didn't work? Are you expecting there to be exactly zero bad apples slipping into the police department? Unfortunately, welcome to earth, there's bad people here. For every 20 good police officers or excellent teachers, there's the one racist overzealous cop or the one teacher that likes to touch little kids. Blocking roads and stealing sht isn't going to change that. You're not going to be able to stop everything. Of course you know these looters don't give two shts about the guy in Minnesota, it's about stealing and damaging things for fun.
