Hi All

I am moving to Phoenix,

I am planning to take a house on Rent, I have heard flats are not furnished.

So i am planning to Buy a double bed and a Sofa.

Can anyone suggest me some "Garage Sale" places Or some special places in phoenix, from where i can buy ???

How much will the Used or New Furniture cost ??

Thanks

We bought a $99 sleeper sofa from IRCA, a hotel furniture liquidator in Phoenix. They have a pretty good selection of stuff. Also, a $99 dining room table from the $99 Store in Glendale. (Hey, we're cheapskates!). Also check out IKEA, which has great stuff; I bought several huge bookcases from them for quite cheap, plus a 7' cabinet for the kitchen. Watch Craigslist.org for deals, and of course actual garage sales. Good luck!

Good ideas, blisterpeanuts. I may check out the $99 store as there might be something I "need". I was always curious about that place. I check Craigslist all the time for furniture and there are some great deals on there!

You guys have a place called the $99 Store??? How awesome! I am cheapskate too and like to change furniture every couple of years. If I didn't pay tons of money for it I don't feel guilty when I give it away We're ditching a lot of our furniture here before the move and getting new stuff when we get out there. Thanks for the tip!!

Oh yeah, does this place have a website or address/phone #???

Yes, it's a cheap new furniture store. I've look at their website before and it is very cheap stuff. Do a google search for it. It's in Glendale. I may look there for some side tables or something of that nature.

Try Craigslist...Search under furniture. Some good deals can be found.
