Yep, just like every other tear down and re-build in Arcadia is a faux farmhouse. White paint, black roof and accents.

I’ve been seeing a lot of this sort of thing lately. More modern less faux farm.

I'm actually a fan of the faux farmhouse white house black roof look. But I'm just seeing too much of it lately and it's beginning to be a little played out

Yeah just skip the cursive “Pantry” on the pantry door. Everyone knows what’s in there.

While I don't own a home with faux beams and distressed woods, they have been around for a while. It warms the house up. No one is playing make-believe. Rather, it's a long-running fad.

Speaking of fads....It seems that "dad bods" are officially sought after. From https://www.insider.com/dad-bods-sum...ey-says-2021-3

"2,000 singles were asked via email what their preferred body type for a partner was, what they looked for in a partner, and what body they considered themselves to have. Nearly 75% of the respondents said they preferred a partner with a "dad bod" over any other body type in 2021. "

I didn't realize I was in style!

That area has a mishmash of homes.

Personally, I am not a fan of most Phoenix homes designed in the '50s through the '70s.

There are plenty of modern and contemporary style homes in Gilbert. You people are so judgmental. Why do you care if someone likes a farmhouse look? And what exactly is your style? Every time someone posts a link to a house, your response is typically "that's fugly."

Not only do you know everything, you are also on point in style and home design trends. Good to know.

"You people are so judgmental. " Goes on to judge. How remarkably on-brand.

I never said I cared if someone wants to live in a fake farmhouse. I simply explained that there is a reason why the facade of a "town" isn't going anywhere.
