On two occasions we've had a group of them (herd? flock? - OK, just checked and it's a "gaze"), anyway 4 or 5 of them were in the back yard eating various fruits and veggies late at night, around 3AM. West side of Lookout Mtn.

Also, about a month ago there was a coatimundi, cousin to the raccoon, in the yard midday. I was going over to trim one of the olive trees and he was up in it. Startled the mutual p*** out of each other. A little smaller than a raccoon, but a heck of a lot faster.

That's cool you had a coatimundi! Looks like a hybrid of a possum and a raccoon.

Folks don't see coyotes in Arizona but we see them every day in Chicagoland. Truth is stranger than fiction.

What?? I saw coyotes every day in Arizona. Indian Bend Wash on the golf course. Historical critter run - all the way from North Phoenix to Tempe.

Some years ago we stayed at the Pointe Tapatio while some work was being done at our house. One night we saw a raccoon rooting through some trash cans.
