Look OBAMA IS NOT A SOCIALIST! NEITHER IS HE A TERRORIST! He is a Democrat. simply defined : One who believes political theology pertaining to the taxation of America to fund its improvements.

WRONG! He is a marxist i.e. socialist. He is also a person who lacks any sort of judgement regarding his cronies, but then he has used every single one of them. He is a man that does not care what he does nor who he uses as he lacks political courage to take a stand for what is right. Abe Lincoln is his idol, well old honest Abe would shake his head at what a lying, conniving, political con artist Obama is.

With his socialist agenda, don't be surprised if you see the name USSA. United Socialist States of America.
I think you might've misunderstood me, Mike. I said continuation! Don't for a second think I'm in favor of the last 8 nightmarish years! However, I happen to be intimately familiar with socialism as well. And with the delivery of "democracy" after that. The euphoria last night reminded me very much of the "democracy" this brave new world (if you get my drift...) sent us down the pipes crediting it to Russia. Oh, yeah, everybody felt soooo happy and free! It didn't take long to realize the "democracy" was planted in order to fleece and screw the population even better. It's all a plot... There's nothing we can do about it. For me, though, it's a personal drama as I wasted my whole life away only to come full cycle to the very same and worse.

I was a registered Democrat (still am 'cause I haven't bothered unregistering) before discovering that my observations are not a figment of my imagination, but unfortunately exactly what is going on in this country and the whole world for that matter. I used to sit before the TV and root like an idiot at the previous elections when I still thought Bush was our only problem. Now... I don't give a rat's patootie and I'm even inclined to think more wool was draped over the pretty easy to handle anyway American eyes. IMHO these elections were staged exploiting the fed-up public (not that the good cop/bad cop strategy is anything new... ) and we certainly didn't get less evil... potentially even more so... Not that I believe it matters who's a president. Nobody who gets to run for the two-headed monster is good and nobody else will ever be elected. The evening before the elections I was watching Boston Legal. The episode was dedicated to the elections and there was a heated argument about the candidates. Guess how it ended? With the "conversion" of an old hard-core Republican to a Democrat... Excuse moi?! Have you EVER seen anything like this on national television the night before elections before?!

I can't even believe the ecstatic opinions I read. I mean, I understand everybody's sick and tired of the last 8 years and Bush (so am I) and there was no doubt in my mind any Democrat would win, but to talk about Obama specifically as if he's their bosom buddy I don't get... What do they know about him...?! Zero, nada, zilch! Could've been anybody!

I've read other posts of yours on politics, patriotism, etc., and I know our views are diametrically different. We're nothing but pawns in this game, Mike, and that's the part you don't get. "Divide and conquer" has worked like a charm throughout history. Nobody up there cares or has ever cared about your well-being or mine, to say the least...

What statistics are you looking at? 7.5 Million more people voted for Obama...you don't consider that a sizable difference? He won by a difference of 7% when it came to the popular vote.

I do not know why people are so against Obama, especially at this point since he already is the President, what is the argument for? Let the guy do...I mean serve his time. Give him a chance without expecting miracles because it wouldn't matter who became the president, it would take more than a miracle to fix the problems in this country alone in a 4-year term.

After all, the mess this country is in is not his fault, right? Imho, we got Bush to thank for that, you let that brainless war droid rule for 8 years and F things up not only in the country but in the globe as well.
If Obama ends up doing 5% of the things that will be beneficial to this country and its people in his entire term, that is still ton better than what the last guy had accomplished.

McCain and others will have to wait their turn...

Amen, thank the Lord, we FINALLY have someone smart at the helm, and thank the Lord! I've endured eight years of hell under Bush, and this is WONDERFUL! Plus, as an added bonus, we have now redeemed ourselves in the eyes of the world community. YAY, YAY, YAY! There are just no words to describe this. Or maybe there are, but I'm too run down after the past eight years to think of them.

I read a hilarious thread in the Real Estate forum today. Somebody was asking if now that Obama was elected (not even a president yet) the public would start trusting the financial institutions and whether it's a good time to buy real estate... As if Mom' gonna wave a magic wand and put some Band-Aid and make it all OK!
