Let me be among the first to wholeheartedly wish Arizona Governor Janet Napolitano luck in being appointed to a cabinet position. It would be great for her to be in Washington, DC, and to have conservative Republican Jan Brewer take over as Governor.

Pretty please, with sugar on top.

Cabinet job may be next for Napolitano

She has already been to Washington. We need her here.

I hope she doesn't go...we already have too many republicans in top positions in this state...we need the governor to at least be a democrat.

No AG nod, but the Washington Post is reporting that she has been selected as the Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security.

Bye, Janet.

Because Napolitano's veto/threatened veto has put the kibosh on some legislation that I strongly approve of. That veto threat goes away thanks to Barack Obama. Thank you, Mr. President-elect.

I have to admit I know nothing about Jan Brewer...but I'm a Democrat so I assume I won't agree with many of her politics, and when I hear you say "conservative" I think "Nothing will get accomplished".

Can you enlighten me on some of the legislation that you approve of that Napolitano didn't?

I agree. I'm happy for her, but I don't want her to leave AZ. And, no, I don't want Jan Brewer to replace her.
