In march I will be in Scottsdale for 4 days. I am thinking about bidding on Priceline for my hotel. I know you don't get pick your hotel so I wanted to check and see if there would be any areas in Scottsdale I should be concerned about first. Thank you. Deeja

In Scottsdale, there really isn't. Far south part of town is a LITTLE dodgier, but there aren't many hotels there, either.

I would not be concerned with any area of Scottsdale. Seriously.

We used to do that all the time. I would only bid resorts and I think you will be happy. Also, the last time we bid (bid for resorts throughout the metro area) we ended up with the Marriott Desert Ridge, which isn't in Scottsdale, and we loved it!!
