I've been trying to remember the name of a restuarant for quite a long time and thought maybe someone could help me out. Trying to remember the name of the restaurant that used to be in the building that is now a Chili's on 20th st and Camelback. It had a simular type of menu as Chili's and I remember it having a really big salad bar it was open in the 80's probably between 80 - 86. I've a couple of people say Jolly Rogers but that was definatly no it. Would love to hear people talk about places that aren't around any more like Victoria Station, Googies, Lunt Ave Marble Club........

I remember that Oscar Taylor was a hip hangout in the 1980s. I think I read that it had been reincarnated (in name at least) sometime recently?

That was a Jolly Roger at some point, but it did have another incarnation which I don't remember at the moment...

I think Chili's is where Tuchetti's was. They had great food and wonderful atmosphere, also very family friendly. I remember they had family nights where a clown (not a creepy one!) went table to table making balloon animals for the kids. They also had a really nice salad bar. I miss that place.

No, Tuchetti's was further east on the Town and Country property, back off Camelback Road. My Big Fat Greek Restaurant went in there some time after Tuchetti's closed; last I was by there I seem to remember it was vacant, but I'm not sure (and it's been a while).

True, but threads are regularly revived here. It's not as if this is a time sensitive topic.
