As a shoutout to all you Minnesotans or Midwesterners, this is NOT the place to be!

I've been here five plus years! This place will not cater to your desires, unless you live back there for half of the year.

The desert is oh so boring. Of course, I moved here from San Francisco, where there is oh so much to do.

At any rate, beware! This place has NOTHING to do here! At any rate, I wish I could edit my title of this thread to say "DON'T COME HERE!." But I can't without asking the Mods to do so here, and I won't bother them.

So you think everybody is just like you, with the same likes and desires, same hobbies, interests, etc? How cute.

I moved here from the SF Bay area myself. For MY lifestyle, I greatly prefer AZ. I absolutely love being out in the desert scenery and exploring the southwest. Any exploration excursion from SF starts out with 4 hours of of traffic hell before you get anywhere decent. Here, I'm already there.

True, but remember you live in Kingman, not Phoenix.

True, true. Kingman is pretty ideal for my lifestyle. But Phoenix isn't that bad from what I can tell either. You can be out of the city into the desert in what, 30 minutes depending on where you live? And if you live in Phoenix, you get all the benefits of living in an urban area as well (e.g., shopping and eating).

Also, not to be xenophobic or anything, but here I have neighbors that I socialize with. In the bay area, my neighbors were all immigrants of one form or another who only associated with their own kind, and considered me a nuisance.

Then move! Simple as that! That is if you can find a buyer in AZ, there are a million others trying to sell their homes, too.

Have you ever heard Uncle Kracker's song called "In A Little While"? If not I HIGHLY recommend you listen to it, it fits your situation perfectly.

SF area does not like kids. If you decide to breed there, its not recommended you move there.

As I read his posting I could hear the strains of "Lord I'm a Ramblin' Man..."

What makes you say that?

Aside from the summer weather: SF has nothing that cannot be replicated in at least the Phx area.

And; needless to say, I would much rather live in (downtown) Kingman over any part of the SF Bay Area.
