Does anyone else's lawn look shabby right now? Mine looks awful...the inbetween stage of winter and summer grasses. What can I do to make it look better??? Anything to help the bermuda along and get rid of the winter rye??

Water it, feed it (I can't imagine ENCOURAGING bermuda, I'm always trying to get rid of it.) The rye will die off quickly when it gets warm enough for long enough... or the well-fed bermuda will choke it to death.

Nope, just the opposite, shut the water off for a week or two. The rye will die and then turn the water back on and the bermuda will take over.

Makes sense, Billy. Thanks for the correction. Serves me right for talking about being nice to Bermuda grass.
