Does anyone live in this area? South of I10 in between 303 and Estrella pwky. There are some new construction Beazer homes in that area. How is it in terms of safety and schools? Thanks for your help.

i live just north of it and was probably going to upgrade to a house in that community before the whole market fell apart - i love the models and it's a very aesthetic community with the drive in ..... they're also putting a grocery store right at yuma/sarival so that will be convenient

schools aren't as strong as those that are north of the I-10, but aren't terrible either ...... will also be close to the new city center concept that will eventually get built

I drive past there just about everyday. I get a kick out of there sales billboard. It's a "sign" of the times. A couple years ago it said "From the low 200s", then it was 180's, then 160s and as of yesterday 140s. Anyhow, it is a nice area that is on hold till things improve. Crime is nil, schools OK if not great. Pretty convenient to shopping and the freeway. What I don't like about it, and this goes for just about everything built in the boom, is that there are many two-story McMansions there on smaller lots. My personal take is it makes for a crowded looking street-scape and all those houses can see in your back yard. But that is the way the new subdivisions are.

they have 3 differenty densities in the community - i was looking at the midrange one and the lot size would of been pretty big - we could of had the only two story with nothing but one stories adjacent ........... however we got cold feet when we saw the market starting to dip - wish we would of still sold our place though and then just rented for a couple years - but c'est la vie

We just bought a house in that neighborhood. So far, so good. We move in Aug 19. Been driving by there frequently since April and everything looks fine. My neighbor is going to be a cop and the fire dept is right there..
