If this son of a ****** is caught, he should be treated like a rapist, or a murderer.. Kill the A hole.... Don't slap him on the wrist and throw probation, or a couple year sentence at him/her..

If you have that much disrespect for someone else, you deserve to be tortured. I hate hearing about sh.t like this...

Unfortunately, Bench . . . it'll probably never happen.

Heck, look at how the nutcases want to "pamper" the GITMO SCUMBAGS.

Default Thanks for the warning....

I live in Ahwatukee thats scary when it hits close to home. I assume you were not home and some how the robbers fiqured that out, do you have a dog? I always hope my dogs barking will be enough to chase an intruder off. We have had someone knocking on the door at 8pm and as late as 10 pm. NOt expectiong anyone, of course we don't answer. I won't even answer if I am home during the day I hate to be rude to, but what can you do, its a risk anymore to even open the door to a stranger.

thanks to all of you for your thoughts and concerns. This week shall be a busy week for us I hope. We have fingerprints from them and they will be checked and we hope we get a match. We also have foot prints on the door.

We have installed a new door with body armor that stops the kick in. We also have installed window alarms so if they try and get in they will get an earfull. camaras have also been installed so they should smile if they try again.

Plus if they try again, I would love to have a little chat with them face to face, I am sure they would NEVER and I repeat NEVER steal again!!!!

Thanks again to the replys and I will let you guys know what comes out of this.

By the way, we just moved here in November and even though this has happened we still love it here and will not be going anywhere else anytime soon.

Unfortunately, not answering the door is not a good reaction. A common (among criminals) method of finding out if anyone is home is ringing the bell or knocking. No answer, kick in the door. A much better way to respond to fear of crime would be to invest in cameras or at least a door speaker set-up. Another thought would be to mount a siren or very loud horn at the exterior front of your house with a wireless remote control that you could keep near to or on your person. Burglers do NOT like noise. Check with an electronics store ( a real electronics supply store, not someplace that sells stereos ) or your Police Department for suggestions. Good Luck

keep your cars keys handy, if you are home and any strange behavior, hit the alarm on your remote, the car alarm will scare any one off, then again, and it only works when I am home, I bought a very large pistol.

I just saw bigbee13's last post. DO NOT CONFRONT A CRIMINAL IN YOUR HOME. CALL THE POLICE. They are trained and equipped to handle the problem. An example of why not to confront them would be a burglary of my own attached garage while we were in the house asleep. Since I was in my early 40's at the time and in very good condition at 6ft 4in and 280 pounds, my thought was that I wished that I had heard them. Two weeks later they were in jail (it was two guys in their early 20's). However, they were not there for my burglary, but for torturing one of their friends to death because they thought the guy was going to rat them out for stealing a motorcycle. I was then very happy that I had remained asleep.
