Just a few things you will miss if you leave Phoenix . . .

http://abqstyle.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/05/northern-pintail-01.jpg (broken link)

Snow birds in the winter like the Northern Pintail . . . watch them while you go fishing in the dead of winter . . . in a t-shirt . . .

Being near some of the most beautiful red rock landscapes in the world . . . did I mention that you can visit them in the dead of winter . . . in a t-shirt . . .

Phoenix Metro Light Rail . . . takes you around town in style . . . no funny smells like New york subway . . . did I mention you can wait at any light rail station, outdoors, in the dead of winter . . . in a t-shirt?

Cincinnatti seems like a cool town.

I would consider working there and living in Florence, KY.

But Phoenix is nice too.

You're gonna need those T-shirts.....

The winter in Phoenix is indeed beautiful. . . anyone counting how many days over 100 % we have already had in May? And. . . .summer does not officially start until June 21!

In all seriousness, Phoenix is a great place to live. . . I came here 30 + years ago after being severely frostbitten in a Chicago winter (I worked outdoors there, too), and have never regretted it!

The red rocks are gorgeous, yes, but who would leave a city like NY to go to PHX for the pitiful light rail? To wear t-shirts (at times) in winter? PHX, for as large as it is, is sorely lacking in many departments, and allllll the birds in the world wont change that. But I guess PHX is "cool" because you can look at birds in the water in winter? Sorry, but I just dont understand the point behind this thread at all (if there is one). I did enjoy the nice photos, though.

And the red rocks are way up near Sedona, which is hardly t-shirt winter weather. lol

What exactly is Phoenix lacking and why is the light rail pitiful? Is it because it is not peed-filled like Chicago and NYC trains??? LOL

The point of this thread is that Phoenix residents don't have to deal with this in the winter:

So while we here in Phoenix will be picking out which t-shirts to buy, those fortunate souls in Chicago and NYC can pick out which fashionable snow shovel to use!!!
