I was gonna say.....

Where's Steve-O?

Had one in our garden area when we moved in.

Just saw him in the shed last weekend.

My little buddy....

I think there's more than one though..

Pretty much harmless but they can jump straight up in the air if startled. And I'm talking to face level. I found out once when I tried to stomp one and missed.
Now I just leave them alone or if it is in the house I try to catch them in a jar and put them outside.
Their bite can cause a welt or bump similar to a bee sting unless you have some uncommon alergic reaction.
Not lethal like a black widow can be.
I've been corrected about my misconceived notions about widows.

Typically not lethal.

They are now allowed in certain areas......

Found another one in the garage recently.

With leather gloves and a small coffee can, they are gently transported to the back alley from now on.

We have a few wolf spiders that hang around here, they pretty much stay out of the way and do their job .. eat other creepy crawlies.

Watching tv as it's getting dark .. they'll cross the room in front of us. Couple times sitting in the dark with just the tv for light, a spider has descended from the ceiling and stopped right in front of my face, an inch from my nose.

Quick eye contact on both sides and up it goes again, lol.

We have tons of spiders here, mostly something like 'dust'? spiders .. they're completely harmless. Just very annoying running into their webs all the time .. you know, arms full trudging up stairs and take a web full in the face.
