Is there any building in downtown Phoenix that you can just walk in and go to the upper floors? I ask because i want to take some pictures.

Thanks

Sure, the Hyatt. Just go up to the Compass Restaurant, and you'll have a full 360 degree view of the entire skyline. There is a meeting room atop Chase Tower as well, but you may have to RSVP for that (it's called the Arizona Club or some such.)

Good question...I think HXguy would know...I would send him a private message asking his advice. He takes great pictures of the city, including downtown. Maybe Management of the Arizona Club inside Chase Tower will allow you to take pictures from their top floors when they are not busy???

Thanks for those. Are there any that are outside? Like a balcony or a roof and such?

None that I can think of that are that high up. The pool deck at the San Carlos Hotel, the Wyndam...hmmm, but they aren't high at all.

Though it's not right *in* downtown, you could go to the top of the Clarendon Hotel and get good pictures *of* downtown. Same with Squaw Peak, if you're up for a very hot hike. I'd go with the hotel right now, personally.

I'm interested in booking the Arizona Club for an event. I emailed the contact info on that page. Has anyone know anything further leasing that room?

OP.....I can get you access to the 22nd flr stairwell at the Executive Towers Condo's, which has a wide open view of downtown facing south
