I know about Carolina's resturant on Mohave (have gone there for the best tortilla ANYWHERE!)

But, where is their other location? Anyone know?

Thanks

Yet another great post from Greatday.

I often go to the one on Cave Creek and Cactus, great food, and I do have to agree with the tortilla comment.

I've been to the Cactus and the Peoria locations. Same food. Their burros are very wet if chicken or beef. What I do is take a small bite out of the bottom and then eat off the top, that way the water drains out on your paper plate, a whole 1/2 inch worth one day.

Silly me. I've driven by the Cave Creek/Cactus location several times, and never put it together that it was the same ownership as the Mohave restaurant. Folks from my office go to that one for takeout sometimes, and rave about it. Now I'll have to go to the CC location!

I think people are just put off by it's location, the area is nice, but surrounded by low-income housing to the north, and not many people are familiar with the chain either, if they only knew.

The CC location is not that busy from what I have seen, but I usually try to avoid going dinner, and just stop in for lunch.

It can get stupid busy at dinner - I generally just try to order it for takeout.

We were introduced to Carolinas, on Mohave, over 20 years ago. We would go there on Fridays for lunch then, buy a couple of dozen large Tortillas to take home. The problem was, usually only a dozen GOT home - we were munching on the others all the way home - they are so good!

There's also a West Valley Carolina's in Peoria at 91st Ave and W. Peoria Ave, so three locations in total.

Carolina's Mexican Food - Phoenix, Arizona

Edit: Sorry Roosevelt - just noticed that you already mentioned this location, I missed it the first time!
