On a personal note I like the food but I suspect there may be a substantial portion of illegal employees rolling my tortilla. This is a moral dilemma, I want to enjoy the food but I am afraid I am making it tempting for alien workers to come to America. I hope that I am wrong, but who really knows?
There is no value in it when you get sick from eating it. Think of the medical costs.

I just at at Ramiros last night, the one at 43rd and Bell Rd. I've been eating at that location for 10 years and never had a problem. I love their been, cheese, and sour cream burrito and chicken burrito, plus the carne asada and quesadilla are awesome.

I eat at "bertos" on a regular basis and have never had any problems. I go to the various stands around town.

My favorite carne asada is at Vacquerros at 7th St and Mountain View, behind the Circle K.

Otherwise the Eribertos on 7th St and Bell is always great.

While I do agree with you, I just can not get past it knowing what I know. I did used to eat at the various Berto's places in the past. Here is an interesting tidbit. Filibertos had 7 major heath violations on just one visit.

I know it's nasty, but you'd be surprised how many restaurants from fast food to high-end dining have too many health violations. We are a fear driven society, but I tend to not live by that although I make smart decisions so I don't eat Berto's much at all, same with any fast food however.

I like the "bertos" places because you can see them make it right in front of you for the most part, unlike fast food.

Eating at these places is fine, as long as your stomach can handle it.

How many have died from Jack off ina Box? Several. Ecoli? I've never seen a health scare related to Filibertos, and yes you can watch them make your food; it doesn't sit under a light for hours. Dominoe's was the dirtiest place I've worked at. I've been around the World five times, the sickest I ever got came after eating at a Roy Rogers', owned by good ole Marriot. Some of that microwave chicken on American Airlines about killed me once, though.

Always cool eating at a place where the staff has to come to work even when they are sick, because they have no sick leave or could end up being unemployed if they don't show up. Chances are that represents the majority of eating places in the nation anyway. I am a conservative republican but still think it is funny that we allow people to handle food when they should be at home. Then again, do they clean their hands anyway?

Think I will stay home and have my Mexican wife cook killer burritos for me all in the comfort of my own home. lol
