Does anyone know of any places advertising the games?

I know a lot of niche bars/pubs air matches, but I'd hope more sports bars that don't normally televise soccer would have World Cup games. I live around 101/I-17 and don't want to drive too far.

So if you know of some sports bars airing them, post them here, regardless of location. I'm sure other people would appreciate the info.

Welcome to Tim Finnegans | Irish Restaurant & Pub | Phoenix, Arizona Just South of you is the "official" Phoenix US Soccer bar. I've never been so I can't say if it's any good.

I'll be @ O'Sullivans (59thAve and Bell)so I can sit outside. But, I'm not a big fan of their food.

Two viewing parties for USA-ENGLAND are being hosted by the University of Phoenix Stadium, Phoenix Regional Sports Commission, and Arizona Sports & Tourism Authority (with help from MLS PHOENIX RISING) to promote the Go USA Bid/The Game is in US campaign to bring the World Cup back to the USA, and to Phoenix/Glendale, in particular. There will be food and drink specials at both locations and special prize giveaways to promote the "The Game is in Phoenix/Glendale" effort.

For those interested, the Saturday US vs. England game will be broadcasted by ABC and will start at 11:30am (AZ time).

The 2 other US games for the first round:

US. vs. Slovenia: Friday, June 18th, 7am (AZ time), ESPN
US. vs. Algeria: Wednesday, June 23rd, 7am(AZ time), ESPN

I think the US has a decent shot of getting out of the first round alive, even if they lose to England. But if they do, then they'll go up against either #1 or #2 in Group D which might be pretty tough as it would probably be either Germany or Ghana.

It's time for soccer (football!) madness! GO Team USA!

Also, good luck to my other favorite team, Brasil! (btw, not sure what the coach Dunga is doing leaving out several star players, but I'll reserve judgment till I see the outcome.).

Hope all the 'floppers' lose! We all know who they are!

It's halftime during the US vs England game right now and I found the ABC commentators so dull and irritatingly negative that I had to switch to Univision. It might be in Spanish, which I don't understand all that well but at least they show some enthusiasm!

After the US scored a goal, I think I heard one of the ABC commentators say something like, "you'll rarely get to see such a lucky goal". Well, putting oneself in an attacking posture isn't luck, it's skill. I won't watch ABC again unless they switch commentators. Very annoying!

Regardless of the outcome, let's support our US Team!

Update: US hung tough with a heavily favored England and tied it 1-1. Well done! With Algeria and Slovenia as the other 2 contenders in the Group, US has a serious chance to advance to the 2nd round.

Thanks guys I found a place that suited my needs.

Next question.....do any radio stations broadcast the games? I searched the AM/FM channels but can only find broadcasts in Spanish (my Spanish sucks but god bless them, at least I know when there's a goal).

I need to know this for some quarterfinal games.
