I was at the park today and saw the strangest looking weed. It made for a good chance to practice with flash.

Terrific job, FedupWNY! I love the way the flash lit up the ends and the prickles on the stem.

Great shot, FedupWNY! I would not want to touch that weed...

I did not want to crop it, because the photo is noisy... So you can see the setup A bulletshell, a little foamy sticker and the drop. I put the sticker on it, because it holds a fairly round drop.

Thanks PhotogGal, it grew to about 3 feet high..... and very prickly. The flash picked it up best in a cloudy evening lighting.
