Katie, I'm seeing some improvement. Since your pictures are quite large, try standing a little futher back from your subject, then crop your pic in a photosudio. The image might be clearer.

Edit: I'll work on an example to post for ya.

The first shot is the original, ISO 50 f/5.2 1/16 light flash, shaded area, evening lighting, full zoom. It's not the sharpest of shots, but I think you can get the idea. Try it out to see the difference.

Thats what I did with the 1 pic. Took it inside [didnt want to get wet
then cropped it for a simi close up micro.
& Yes I think I am getting to close. the flower looked fuzzy instead of sharp.
Maybe I should have done the same with it?
