Jaggy, re; the airport photo...this image linked below is pretty much the same image...from 1929 when the largest race track in the country existed at that spot...
This is a good portion of a rather large painting by Jeannie Maddox of Dothan, Albama that I saw at Artisphere here in Greenville last Saturday. It's painted in the "photo realism" style and took about 650 hours to produce. In person it is absolutely stunning and looks so real!

I am amazed that cameras were allowed at the exhibit. Her work is copyrighted, and not cheap...Even on her website you can only view thumbnails...I would check the copyright if I were you...I wouldn't want to see you get into trouble....My fears aside I agree that her work is wonderful, as painting water scenes is very difficult to do..Below is a link to her site...
