I liked the hospital idea, we don't have a upmc hospital that is close.

I thought it was a good idea for that space, too. Maybe they're trying to lure Amazon...

I can't go to UPMC because my employer is with Highmark, so I could care less anything about that horrible greedy selfish company that I subsidize with MY tax dollars. I agree, GO AWAY UPMC and maybe we all get lucky and it could be taken over by a hospital that actually cares about the community! They sure are an awful bunch! They should certainly pay taxes if they are not going to care for the community as a whole!!!!!!

Why did they build Newbury Market if it's not needed? This many years on and such little commercial development.

Why the development at the Civic arena, the one in Hazelwood or Pittsburgh Mills. It is because someone convinced a bank or a politician that it was needed when it was not.

Two of those are re-developments in dense urban areas. The other two are green field development in areas that have no business growing in a metro without population growth.

And the 4 have been long term failures so far. south Fayette has had enormous population growth.
