If you would have read the post I quoted, I was speaking of the Pittsburgh accent.

I was forced to watch Colorado news for a week while on our cruise. It's like a non stop country western show.

We've discussed this before, I figured it out. You were out there right before the 4th of July, when they were advertising for the Greeley Stampede, which is not just a rodeo. One year we went to a Kelly Clarkson concert on July 4.

You wouldn't want to live here because of the earthquakes.

So the world shakes a little here and there!

OK, this thread is really "tongue in cheek". There seems to be a cultural trait in Pittsburgh to talk at length about why it's not a good idea to live anywhere else, usually focusing on natural disasters and weather. eg, Durhan gets hurricanes; the Dakotas, the west and the southwest have a continuous water shortage; California has earthquakes; the midwest has tornadoes; etc. Plus, everyone else's economy is about to tank. I used to hear this kind of talk often when I was a kid, and I continue to hear it here on CD.

Here is a good reason why you should not live in Colorado.

Fourmile Fire: 92 structures lost, partial property list released - Boulder Daily Camera
---------------------------

The Green Bay Packers are televised infrequently, I get lost all the time, Squirrel Hill tunnel is ridiculous, people can take themselves too seriously, and it is incredibly political city.

This is a nice place to live though!

I'm sorry. I didn't see that in the OP. I don't know if I'd want to live in Colorado because it sounds boring.... (what does this have to do with Pittsburgh?)
