I currently live in Maine, have been away from Pgh for about 10 years. I was reading the thread on turn signals (or lack thereof) and it got me to wistfully thinking of McKnight Road and Seibert Road in Ross Twp. Tell me, is the intersection as bad as I remember from 2000? Many a long wait and a full bladder with no traffic moving at all! Christmas Saturdays were the worst! Has it changed at all? Is Ross Park Mall still backing everything up? Funny the memories we keep......

I dont' know what intersection that is, but honestly I don't find any of the intersections on McKnight all that trecherious.... I mean they will catch you, but you can usually get through em in reasonable time,

The intersection I can't stand is that one by the gas station/ AdultMart.... I really wish they would just be rid of it, because drivers are usually going so fast (myself included) when they hit that light it's really hard to slow down.

It's still a lousy intersection. I especially like it after a bad storm when it floods.

I have to disagree with you on the Nelson Run light. I live up on top of the hill and during the PM rush hour that's the only "safe" way to get onto McKnight heading north.

Seibert Road westbound can get backed up past the fire station.

McKInight Road is still an overall pain in the ass.
