My wife, I and our 2 yr son are moving to Pittsburgh from NJ in September. Since we're not familiar with the area, we've decided to rent prior to purchasing a house. We will be eventually looking houses in north side of the town (Franklin Park, Wexford, Cranberry) and ideally would like to find a rental in this same area.

Can anyone suggest townhouses in the areas above (or close by in Allegheny County). I'm working from home and my wife is a stay a home mom, so the commuting will not be an issue.

Here's an idea what we like:

Highlands of Montour Run Apartments

Thanks in advance.

The Club of North Hills looks similar. It's in Ross Township near McKnight Road across the street from La Roche at the corner of Babcock Blvd and Duncan Avenue.

I knew folks who lived in each of these places and seemed to be happy with them:

The Pointe at Adams Ridge

There are a few plans off the Mt. Nebo exit of I-79 and Camp Horne Road off I-279. I'm sorry I don't remember the names of the neighborhoods. You can probably google those exits and townhomes and they will come up.

EDIT: http://www.villageofsewickleyhills.com/ is one of them
