"South Hills" is a bit of a broad term, any specific area you had in mind?

I live in Pleasant Hills. It is relatively quiet around here in the residential areas. Very rare for police calls except for those business areas out on Route 51 or on Curry Hollow Road/Brownsville.

Unfortunately, Cloverleaf Village, which could be Leland Points sister, is considered on the edge of Pleasant Hills, and they do get a lot of police calls there.

6 years and never had a problem yet with theft and I let my garage door up most of the time in the summer.

Hi Benzman--Can you share some more info on the Cloverleaf Village complex? I am slightly concerned as I am pretty sure that is where my Ex just rented a new apartment. He isn't originally from this area and doesn't really look into things. Is it a dangerous place? I am just concerned as my daughter will have to go there for her weekends. I can't seem to find out much about it online.

People that listen to scanners all the time, are no doubt going to have a different perspective on areas to those that live there not focused on anything negative they can get their hands on. I mean, if you are listening to that crap you have a certain mentality and to be honest, I wouldn't give it much consideration.

I don't think there have been any shootings or of the like, but a lot of theft, drugs, fires, domestics, might have been a stabbing awhile back. I think a lot of Section 8 ers are there. I would make sure the daughter stays away from the kids in that area, they might get her into trouble in more ways than one.

Give the Pleasant Hills Police a call. They can tell you all about it. It is probably one of the most problematic places in their whole service area as they get called there almost daily.

Oh, and I listen to the scanner 24 hours a day too! Been a hobby of mine since I was a kid!

Cloverleaf like most section 8 complexes just seems to be a rowdy-nuisance place, but not a rowdy-dangerous
