This is the 4th time I have been rear-ended in about a year and a half. I'm just minding my own business when, POW, someone always crashes into my rear bumper. It's getting to be a hassle! Ironically, it happened again today, when I was in a rental car, because I'm getting the rear bumper on my Galant repainted from someone who rear-ended it. Now my rental has rear bumper damage, too! I'm about to duct tape old tires to my back bumper.

Do gay men get in more traffic accidents then the rest of the population at large? I wouldn't think so but this forum has me questioning my previous assumptions.

I know my car has an attractive rear, but please -- look but don't touch! It's not that kind of girl.

I am 56 years old and have never had my car rear-ended.
Wonder why you have been... and so often too!

I always assumed you would be driving some type of big ole Chrysler New Yorker, haha.

In my 15 years of driving around Pittsburgh I never been rear-ended. I was in my friend's Mom's minivan when we were like 17 and had a 80 some year old man with Alzheimer's slam into us once proving that it is just too easy to have a license.

I used to have a yellow 1977 New Yorker. It was a beautiful car. I bet the Toyotas would bounce right off one of those.

I don't know, but it sucks! In all four instances, I was stopped at a light or a stop sign when it happened!

When I was in Chicago, I was in my '98 Nissan Sentra SE (I really loved that car, by the way) at a red light and got rear-ended by a drunk in a steel-box Caddy. My Sentra's trunk crumpled as designed and was totaled. His Caddy didn't even look dented.

The lamented car (even the same color):

This thread has inspired me. I'm selling the Galant. From now on, I'll be driving huge Cadillacs, Lincolns, or New Yorkers.
