Won't work, my home is on a hillside, very little grass, a ton of trees.

Very little grass? Just leave 'em then! Or I guess you're going to say they fall on the very little grass that you do have.

I took day off and worked outside. I wasn't too focused on leaves though, still working on other stuff, so now I'm thinking I need to squeeze in a few more hours tomorrow somehow before it rains all over the leaves. In many spots of the yard it's harder to deal with the leaves once the rain gets 'em stuck to the ground. They don't come up as well with the mower, for example.

I never understood people that, "hate leaves" or "beats the hell outta snow". Why do you both live in an area with seasons? Wouldn't it be wise to move south? Weather is pretty important and it is hard for me to believe people would stay in an area they are miserable for 1/2 or even more of a year. Odd.

I agree this is perfect, beautiful weather. However, it is a bit frustrating when you go to work at 7 am and have to wear at least a jacket, work in a cold building, and then are sweating when you leave and go outside! I just ask for some consistency, but I wouldn't holler if THIS weather were consistent

I love the seasons, but like you posted in another thread, I just wish the trees would work together and just dump all their leaves on the same day so you only have to rake once.

And actually, I had the helicopter seed pods in the Spring more than the leaves. I'm pulling out little tree saplings all year long.

Because my friends are here, family is here, my "home" is here; and like with your friends and family (I hope) you take the good with the bad and don't just ditch them for something "better" because they have a few warts.

Oh, he was complaining about the seasons? I wonder why he doesn't just move.

EDIT (if it wasn't obvious): heh.
