Pretty sad, adding all the pollution with that two-cycle motor running that long and considering in three days you won't even know you did anything, it wasn't worth it. I do one cleanup a year at the end and one in the spring.

With the storm blowing in, all the leaves should fall in one big thump this year. That's one good thing about the storm, anyway--there had to be a silver lining somewhere, right? Also, today's sky is downright spectacular. So intensely blue it looks like someone photo-shopped it. I'm guessing it's the same up your way, looks like everyone in the NE is getting more or less the same pre-storm weather.

It is overcast today and there is almost a stationary cold front at our doorstep being held there by Sandy's path and a few other odd little things going on. We are sort of in a holding funk. The cold front is supposed to make it through, but it is really slow. Anyway, it is nice right now, but some people hate if it isn't sunny, so for them it is miserable I guess.

It's so creepy outside I feel we are paying for the beautiful weather we had last week.

It's all Hopes fault, she kept saying It's so Beautiful! out there.
And for those thinking to move south to escape leaves...we lived in Orlando for a few years, and Christmas in Orlando was me in the house baking cookies while the hubby was raking leaves out back, with the kids destroying every pile he raked. There is no escape, leaves will fall.

Ban Hopes! lol Actually it just looks like a normal rainy day. To be honest, it sure seem like a long time since we had a rain out. Heck it isn't raining very hard though. Maybe I can squeeze a bike ride in there.

You'll be lonely representing the Great White North by yourself!

If it is nice enough I will. I don't have the gear to ride in the heavy rain. Light rain I ride if I can find a little break in the action.
