I'll give them away free. I already have two milk crates full and most of them are still on the tree. By the end of this season, I definitely have a lot of black walnuts. I don't want to be bothered with giving away a handful. Take at least two crates worth. I'm not husking them for you. If you know anything about black walnuts, you'll know that's a PITA. Aside from husking a couple handfuls for one batch of brownies, we throw the rest away every year.

Ha! As I suspected! NOBODY wants Black Walnuts! Every Fall, I wonder why we haven't cut down this tree! LOL

I'll take a crate. I'll have a ton of time on my hands in a few weeks to deal with the little buggers.

Awesome! Love the comment about the time it takes to "deal with the little buggers!"

We're heading out of town for a few days of house hunting. We will be back on Saturday night.

I'll DM you and we can make arrangements.

Just curious, did you have your formal hearing at the county yet?

Nope. Asked for a postponement. It was granted. Haven't been sent a new hearing date yet.

Thanks for reminding me. I need to make time for the inspector to come over.

If you mean appraiser, you better call now. Chances are good you'll be notified less than a week of your hearing date.

Yeah, appraiser. That's what I meant.

I know I won't have much notice. That's why I asked for a postponement.

But I do already have an appraiser lined up. I just need to schedule a time.

Hi Hopes, I would love a crate of walnuts...I like to string them for decorations and have been looking for a tree here in Pittsburgh. Lots of work, but very pretty!

Thanks for the consideration, e
