Nobody who even vaguely knows anything about sports will forget that Jim Mora bit, partly or mostly because of its later use in the Bud Light commercial. (They did a series of commercials that included real clips of former NFL coaches.)

We actually don't need the clip anymore. We CAN and WILL talk about playoffs!

I want my NLDS Game 2 tix to be good though. I still have a little ways to go to see that. Doesn't look like a division win is in the future so the one-game wild card is the next determinator. And then they could still sweep or be swept, although that seems not too too likely.

I have a game 2 and a game 3. Pretty sure at this point I'll just be getting money back for game 3 (which isn't such a bad thing, kinda stretched myself there . . . ).

Wow. Really? After 20 years? Blind squirrels find acorns in less time. They'll be back to normal in a year or so.

You realize that the same people haven't been in charge for twenty years, right?

Right?

Sure do. So its taken 6-7 years for him and 20 overall? The nuttings are all about the money and the Pirates will be back to normal in a year or 2.

Seems the crow has been eaten the other way for the last 20 years including the last 6-7 under Nutting. To gloat after that amount of time for 1 winning season is hilarious. I'm a Pirates fan but reality is reality. Eventually they'd find a nut.

As I was only 18 months old the last time they were in it, this is essentially my first time too. Maybe yinzer nation will stop with the Steelers obsession for this year!
