I'll keep an eye on developments as I make my way down S Braddock to my occasional dines at Square Cafe. I'm glad that location will not have been idle for long.

Meanwhile, you may want to try Daphne Cafe at 5811 Ellsworth in Shadyside. It is a true family affair: typically the daughter takes your order, the father cooks it, and the mother does the financial transactions (or some other combination of the above with a son thrown in). The food is good, it's one of my wife's favorites.
