I've used spirit a few times & find it fine so long as you know what you're getting into. Long as you just need say a bookbag to fly with (used it to visit my parents a few times so didn't need to bring much) it can be dirt cheap especially to some of the lessor serviced destinations but of course there's always that family of four with 2 suitcases each arguing about their $50 flight costing them $200 who didn't bother to read any further when booking.

Latrobe can be a pain depending where your're coming from but at least the parking if free there.

This would be very convenient, since it will use the airport only a mile from downtown. The Air Canada flights from Pittsburgh land at Pearson, which is much further out from the city.

Toronto City is fun (and much more convenient) to fly into, being so close to Downtown. $286 RT really isn't bad, either. Last time I checked, the AirCanda flights were going for about twice that.

That's an introductory rate and will likely catch up shortly after the launch. Although they are flying turboprops Bombardier Q400, so the operating costs will be lower. Generally, I don't like turboprops due to noise (no matter how low they say they can get it) and the speed, but for regional short hauls who cares.

The leather seats, no middle seats (I'm guessing), and complimentary wine/beer would more than make up for that , for me. Plus the convenient destination airport.

No doubt. A couple of cold ones will take care of the noise.
