When I was a kid I thought that "ain't" was a curse word because my dad would react just as strongly if you said it as he would if you'd actually cursed. ("I don't ever want to hear you say that word again!")

English is a needlessly complicated language in which it is impossible to not make mistakes, figuratively speaking.

We should all just give it up por Espanol. Mi Espanol es muy bueno, observar: !Toca la guitarra en el bano con mucho bonita gatos! Extremo Oriente barrios son demasiado caro, es mejor comprar una casa en Brookline. !Mi pescado es muy caliente!

Yes. Think hard. That's exactly how I wrote it in English. I had limited material based on his guitar story.

Don't look at me. I spent my entire high-school career taking French only to realize that
no one actually wants to talk to those people.

I'm a little bit of a Grammar Nazi, maybe 7 years of German class did it. Hey, I combined two topics!

I only participate on one other forum, one that is related to my business. The spelling/grammer their leaves alot to be desired. I started a thread on the Writing section of City Data back in 2009 about spelling/grammar and it ran for 5 years and 5900 posts until some jagoff Mod closed it and started his own, there goes my read count.

I used to correct people hear until I started getting my posts orphaned or hit with infractions. I still correct some posts by giving rep points. So if you get the following after using the non-word alot: alot is not a word---Hopes, you'll know it's me.

Check this out.
