Transportation (Public trans options and accessibility, convenience, walkability, biking, parking, traffic).

1) Mount Lebanon
5) Beechview

3) Brookline
2) Lawrenceville

1) Squirrel Hill
12) Central Northside

Nothing can beat Northside's neighborhoods for all of the criteria. It's flat for walking and biking, there's a bike trail right there, you can walk downtown, lots of transit and can easily transfer downtown to anywhere without a huge additional to commute time.

11) Morningside
15) Strip District

I wanted Morningside to win but the Strip is more convenient.

1) Oakland
4) Bloomfield

Oakland is way too congested and the parking is insane.

6) Manchester
2) Shadyside

Again, Northside neighborhoods are perfectly located and meet all of the criteria.

1) South Side
4) Bellevue

Bellevue has better parking and less traffic, but South Side wins for its convenience to downtown.

6) Highland Park
15) Friendship

This is a close one because Friendship has more walkability to business districts and Highland Park has more walkability to a large park. The convenience to many nearby business districts tipped it in Friendship's direction.

Sweet 16:

I added some commentary this round since the matchups are getting more intriguing.

1) Mount Lebanon
5) Beechview

Close battle, it's about time that a 1 seed goes down. They are on the same T line, but Beechview is closer to downtown, and thus edges out Mt. Lebo in all categories besides parking.

3) Brookline
2) Lawrenceville

If Brookline had a T line running right through the middle of the neighborhood, it might have won by a hair. Don't know. I'm no bookie so don't ask.

1) Squirrel Hill
12) Central Northside

The Jews vs. the Gays... LOL! Another 1 seed in trouble. Unfortunately for Squirrel Hill, The MWS punch way above their weight in this category.

11) Morningside
15) Strip District

The Strip just might end up winning the whole damn thing, which would be funny as hell since like 200 people live there.

1) Oakland
4) Bloomfield

This is a tough one. Oakland has better transit and accessibility, but also worse parking and traffic. Convenience/walkability = tie. The remaining tie breaker is biking. Bloomfield wins in an upset on a last second shot... (Liberty Ave bike lane).

6) Manchester
2) Shadyside

Manchester technically has a T stop now, as well as great proximity to rest of the North side and Downtown. Unfortunately, nobody goes there because there's almost nothing of note in the neighborhood itself.

1) South Side
4) Bellevue

Traffic and parking issues in the SS are way overblown thanks to the local news' incessant fear mongering. Bellevue had a nice run, but is clearly overmatched this round.

6) Highland Park
15) Friendship

Friendship pulls the upset again! 4-3 over HP: Public trans options, accessibility, convenience, walkability.

How anyone can say Oakland has worse transit/transportation than Bloomfield baffles me. Oakland is #2 after the Golden Triangle.

This is true, but it's also dragged down by poor traffic, parking, and no bike lanes.

I'm the only person who likes Manchester, probably because I'm the only person here who ever lived there.

I like Manchester, I just don't think it has much going for it other than a relatively large number of absolutely amazing homes.
