Want out of Butler PA

Someone told me Butler was named one of the best small towns in America by Smithsonian Magazine. I guess it is true.

I moved to Butler last April and I'm also pretty sorely disappointed with the area.

My landlord lied about a lot of things wrong with the property, I've also seen some pretty shady things in my neighborhood, at least one of my neighbors is a hoarder, and another neighbor is a convicted pedophile.

Other areas of town are pretty nice, but I apparently live in a really nasty neighborhood full of slumlords who don't keep up their properties. There are a few nice elderly people whose houses made the neighborhood look worthwhile when we moved in, unfortunately for them their property values are probably plummeting.

PA favors the landlord vs tenant. It is a landlord paradise with the number of renters available. Typically, you have to spend more to get a better neighborhood and landlord. Look for a neighborhood where the rent is high.
