Yet ANOTHER thread on city data about it. It never ends, it seems there are certain people on the site that don't have any connection to Pittsburgh, but have a very strange agenda of calling it the midwest and getting as many people as they can to agree with them...
Guess who started that thread? The Rust Belt bashing Shakeesha. He/she is a real tool

The Catholic church is pretty strong in most of the midwest.
These Are The Most Catholic U.S. Cities
Note Chicago, Minneapolis, Milwaukee, St. Louis, Cleveland, Detroit, Columbus, Cincinnati, all in the top 25. Iowa was getting lots of publicity during their primary campaign for having lots of evangelicals.

Yeah. I can't really think of any commonalities between say Duluth, Minnesota and Evansville, Indiana. Certainly nothing which wouldn't be shared with other cities across the United States.

Eat, work, sleep! Actually, boating. They're both on water.

Exactly. I've lived in a variety of Midwest states and more than one area in some of these states. Indiana, Ohio, Kansas, Missouri, Minnesota, and Nebraska. The only two places that even bear any resemblance to one another are Indiana and Missouri. But even then that would be certain areas of the states. Western Kansas is different than the easter part of the state. Minnesota is not like any of these other states either though I suspect areas of Iowa would be similar to areas of Minnesota.

Just for everyone's info, this site has an ignore list which I find works well for me with that thing and a few others who post here. It would be nice if everyone could add a few to their list and we could get this site back to how it was a few years ago.
