I see that the State Stores as we call them are now open until 7pm on Sundays! This is a pretty big deal, because if you were having a dinner Sunday night and were from out of town going to a BYOB place and wanted to grab a bottle of wine, you were out of luck. Out of town people couldn't grasp this at all. Now many liquor stores in our region are open till 7pm. Waterworks and Center Ave (next to Whole Foods) come to mind, but there are a lot of others. Also, I have heard that wine will be in several grocery stores in our region. This will help those in a pinch. I like our situation in PA to be honest. The State Store folks can actually make a real living in those stores. They can send a kid to college! I think people need to realize that our government is trying to balance things a bit. Sure they waste massive money with PennDot and more, but in this case I think they may have it right. I know, I know people are pissed because they can't one stop shop, but maybe some folks should have a life and not be paid $9 an hour.
